I know that ZaraRadio can export the song title & artist to a txt file, but is that sufficient for DMCA compliance on Internet radio?
DMCA requirements are loosely written by Congress and enforced by the Library of Congress. Not known for their law enforcement capabilities, the Library folks leave the specific info required up to the licensing firms (BMI, ASCAP, SESAC, Sound Exchange). But most of the time, artist and title is enough for them to determine attribution identity.
As a side note, Congress is currently in the process of reviewing and rewriting the DMCA as it deals with "intellectual property". No word yet if this will have an affect on streaming music.

What got me thinking was the LoudCity website. Under "DMCA Highlights" is this:
"Provide some means for the end user to identify the song, artist and album title of the recording as it is being played."
Even the old trusty WinAmp/ShoutCast doesn't provide album titles. Since they don't specify the means, I'm guessing that means the album names don't have to necessarily be in the stream, but can be handled over our websites.

The latest version of WinAmp Pro does provide for changing the "output settings" just like other automation software including SAM3 and DRS2006. Just enter the text string commands like the example provided and "voila". You'll find the output settings under the tab for CD ripping. BTW, you don't have this capablity on the free version of WinAmp, but for 20-bucks it is well worth it.
