Oh! I didn't realize how old this thread was! For a much simpler method of streaming with Zara you might want to scroll up towards the top of this page to my December 25, 2010 post, using Broadwave and virtual audio cable made things quick and easy to set up.. I was up and going in minutes. I forgot all about that, it was so quick and easy to stream online with Zara using that method, but I ended up going another route because the free version of Broadwave kept inserting some kind of advertisement every couple minutes over the music, and I didn't want to purchase a full version. It was a few years later that I followed a tutorial using free software.

The version of Zara Radio that works with dsp plugins try to load a 10k+ track playlist the program will freeze it take 50min to 11hr 15min to load a large playlist.  With Radioboss I can load a 100k track playlist in like 5 seconds that is why I am sticking with it for now.

One of the things I like about Zara is that it is drag and drop from my external hard drive, no loading required.  I think the software has changed in the last few years, at least the copy I'm using isn't the same as the ones on YouTube.  For example, when I follow the instructions to go to streaming - Playlist, Add Internet Stream - I get a little box that asks for the duration of the connection and insert the URL.

Also, everything seems to be sold in US dollars which causes me a few problems.

That's so when you insert a source from the internet to add to your playlist it will know how long to stay connected before resorting to your local playlist, otherwise you'll end up with dead air. It has nothing to do with your own streaming (in case that's what you were thinking).
