"No sir, I was not facetious. I was being idealistic. As a return gesture of generosity"

Well my above suggestion would be an even better return gesture - AND at the same time eliminate the obnoxious ad saturation. Everybody wins.

Would it not?

All that aside, I do notice the individual post arent being broke into separate pieces anymore, but I am still getting full screen ads that sometimes dont fully load, leaving me no option but to click back to get out of it - Which can particularly be annoying if it occurs while I'm submitting a new post, because everything I just wrote gets lost and I have to start all over again.

When an ad doesnt fully load I cant click the little X to close it. Example below, the only way I can get out of it is to click back arrow, go another bookmark, or close the window altogether.

The ads really have relaxed here.

I use the Chrome ad blocker, and still get plenty of ads here. There are a few other things about the layout and features here that don't make it as easy to find my way around as I would like. However, I'm fully aware of the work that goes into creating and maintaining an online forum - and the fact that these things have to be paid for, either by ads, subscription fees, or a benevolent forum owner. For those reasons, I will eat my gruel and be happy! (Oliver Twist reference.)

I see the ads have returned breaking post apart into pieces.

The same type ads have started popping up in my browser while I'm visiting websites. There must be a contagion factor at work. The advertising industry is working fiendishly to annoy as a sales tactic.

Yeah, I complain about them here, but the fact is they're really everywhere, quite annoying. It would be nice to escape them here.. This is the only part 15 forum on the internet that attacks you with ads. I guess you can say that's what makes our forum different.

Oh for chrissake it's getting even worse than it was a few hours ago.. jpanezle must of remotely turned back up the ad dial from wherever he lurks. I just know he has multiple domains trickling in ad revenue.. all those trickles add up big.

I don't actually know anything.. Whois dns list ownership as private so I can't confirm.. So I don't know anything  --but I just know it. Wish he'd consider releasing ownership, I suspect the part 15 hobby itself is of no particular interest to him.

@richpowers I'll email and tell admin about it. I agree the ads should be in the blank space on the right.
