Carl! This is really a good site. A lot of the stations that are on here
remind me of my early days monitoring
the FM and AM bands.
One thing that really sticks in my mind,
is WVEO, In Concord (???) Vermont. That doesn’t
sound right.
Well anyway, it was in the days when 89.1 was
empty down here and I used to listen WVEO all
the time in Hartford.
Then the FM band got glogged up.
When I was in high school, my friend Gary and
I would drive to the top of my street – a BIG hill –
and listen to Maine Public Radio on 90.1. On
Gary’s Volkswagen radio. It came in like a ton
of bricks. Too many stations on 90.1 now.
But then, on top of that hill in West Hartford,
it was always there. 1972, I guess.
I wish I could put up an FM DX beam antenna.
That would be just great
Best Wishes,
Bruce, DRS2

I never thought this would happen Arrrgh.
I was wrong. It’s WEVO, 89.1, Concord, NH.
Wow. I never ever thought there would be
a time in my life when I would forget radio
station call signs, locations, and other stuff
that’s uh uh…..
