Ok, it’s not serious, but it is true.. Well, sort of anyway..
Perhaps a bit off’topic in relation to part 15, but I got a kick out of this professors name; (the late) A.M. Low.

Perhaps a bit off’topic in relation to part 15, but I got a kick out of this professors name; (the late) A.M. Low.
“In 1925, British scientist A.M. Low wrote a rollicking forecast of life in the coming century. The Future, as Popular Science wrote two years later, was full of flying cars! One-piece suits! Radios everywhere! Much of which sounds downright absurd with the conveniences of hindsight. But here’s the thing: Low was actually right…”

A.M. Low is One of Us
I appreciate your sharing the predictions of A.M. Low, Rich Powers, and believe that in some way part 15 radio is part of the future he foresaw.
I tend to think my car might be able to fly, anyway there are a lot of controls and buttons I know nothing about, and flying would be handy for testing signal coverage.
But I’m worried that if the car got stuck up there you’d need some way to climb down.

I just picked out an old post
I just picked out an old post to revive.. for the sole reason of getting a new post up there to reply to, since I suspect there are many here that may not realize that the forum is still working, but you just can’t start a brand new thread..
I hope that makes sense..

I noticed there haven’t been
I noticed there haven’t been any new posts for a few days, which is odd, I just thought people were having a good weekend out of the house.
I noticed other things too, like posts locked for seemingly no reason, like Atrain’s thread about getting his AM station. I thought ha, someone was being a nerd for a minute, then thought the site might be having problems.
I hope they fix it, it’s like the local ISP we used to have on phone modem dialup, if their computer broke on the weekend, there was never anyone to fix it and you’d have wait until monday morning to get service back. Their “name server” would go out, as well as the email sometimes.
Nice preditions in the article, we had an examination of something similar in school, which things came true from 100 years ago and which didn’t. Our class concluded that you can’t really predict the future as far as we know, though we’d come up with fanciful ideas of time machines and fortune tellers.
The real people who tried to do it would look at trends of what seemed like was coming, what scientists were working on, along with ideas of advancements people would need, like going from more dangerous candles, oil lamps and gas lighting, and needing something to replace it, like the Edison lamp. The moment you’d see a light bulb, or even hear about it, your imagination could soar with ideas of the whole world being lit up.

Ever read the book in school titled 1984, by George Orwell?

You remember the song In The Year 2525? I find that one interesting too. Some of the things in the Jetsens have came to pass as well and that was in the 60’s.
